BULL THIEVES

Bull Thieves were formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2009 by three Texas transplants from Galveston and Houston. They make fat, slowed beats and strum big guitars over huge synths. They sing in baritones and whispers.

Lance Scott Walker - voice, beats, guitar, bass, drums, piano

Nicholas Phelps - guitar, voice, bass

Task - synths, knobs, switches, voice, beats

Task was a hip-hop DJ in Houston for years, Phelps played guitar in The Watermarks and Walker played in Jessica Six, Port Vale and performs solo as The White Papers.

Their debut full-length Bull Thieves was recorded with Aric Carroll in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn from April to October of 2010. It was mixed by Ivan Evangelista at Future Sound, NY and mastered by Matthew Agoglia at Masterdisk. Released December 28, 2010.
